DevVault respects the intellectual-property rights of software developers, publishers, creators, marketplaces, copyright owners, and other rights holders. We take copyright concerns seriously and provide this page to explain how rights holders can report material that they believe infringes their rights.

DevVault is primarily an indexing and discovery platform. References, listings, metadata, descriptions, screenshots, trademarks, and links displayed on the platform may originate from third-party sources. The presence of an item in an index does not by itself mean that DevVault owns, licenses, or authorizes the underlying copyrighted work.

1. Copyright Complaints

If you believe that material available through DevVault infringes your copyright, you may submit a written copyright complaint to our designated copyright contact:

A DMCA notification should contain enough information for us to identify the allegedly infringing material and evaluate the complaint. To the extent applicable under 17 U.S.C. § 512, a notification should include:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
• Identification of the specific DevVault page, URL, listing, or other location where the material appears.
• Sufficient information for us to locate and verify the material.
• Your full legal name and contact information, including an email address and, where appropriate, a telephone number.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
• A statement that the information in your notification is accurate.
• A statement, where required by applicable law, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Providing incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information may delay the review process.

2. Review of Copyright Reports

After receiving a sufficiently detailed complaint, DevVault may review the information provided, verify the referenced URL or listing, and assess whether action is appropriate.

Depending on the circumstances, DevVault may:

• Remove or disable access to the reported listing or material.
• Temporarily restrict access while a complaint is being reviewed.
• Request additional information from the reporting party.
• Contact the relevant account holder or content contributor.
• Preserve relevant records where required or appropriate.
• Take other measures permitted by applicable law.

Submitting a complaint does not guarantee immediate removal. Each report may require review based on the information available to us.

3. Counter-Notices

Where applicable under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, a person whose material has been removed or disabled may submit a counter-notification explaining why the removal was incorrect.

A valid counter-notification should provide the information required by applicable law, including sufficient identification of the removed material, relevant contact information, required statements, and the person's consent to the applicable legal process.

DevVault may process a valid counter-notice according to the procedures required by applicable law.

4. Repeat Infringement and Abuse

DevVault may restrict or terminate access for users, accounts, or contributors who repeatedly submit infringing material or repeatedly misuse the platform.

Likewise, knowingly false, fraudulent, or abusive copyright complaints may result in account restrictions or other appropriate action where permitted by law.

5. Third-Party Content and Intellectual Property

Third-party trademarks, logos, product names, screenshots, software titles, documentation, and other creative assets remain the property of their respective owners.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

• DevVault does not claim ownership of third-party trademarks or copyrighted works.
• DevVault is not affiliated with or endorsed by third-party software vendors merely because their products are referenced.
• A listing or index entry does not create a license to use a third party's copyrighted material.
• Users are responsible for obtaining any permissions or licenses required for their intended use.

6. Official Sources and Licensing

Whenever reasonably available, DevVault may provide links to official developers, vendors, marketplaces, documentation, licensing pages, or other authoritative sources.

Users should consult the relevant official source before downloading, installing, modifying, redistributing, or commercially deploying third-party software.

An index entry on DevVault does not replace the license granted by the original copyright holder.

7. No Authorization by Indexing

The inclusion of a software title, product name, link, screenshot, description, or other reference on DevVault should not be interpreted as a statement that DevVault owns, distributes, endorses, or has obtained a commercial license for that material.

Users remain responsible for complying with applicable copyright, trademark, licensing, and distribution requirements.
